Healing tomatoes

  • by

A friend of mine from Ukraine recently sent me a photo of a tomatoes that he had grown. I thought it was very cute and the tomatoes were really wonderful, but then I forgot about them. But later another friend sent me her tomatoes, and then another one, who had never grown vegetables before.

I thought it was funny, I thought – why does everyone send me photos of their tomatoes?

Then I remembered. Two years ago, when I first came to England from Ukraine, during the war, I was lucky and I ended up in a small quiet town in the south. I got a job at a school as a teacher’s assistant and taught English to Ukrainian children. During my lunch break, I went to the woods near the school and there I repaired my damaged psyche.

What was I doing? I took off my shoes, walked barefoot on the grass, hugged the trees and listened to the peaceful breathing of the earth. I hugged the trees and listened to the birds.

I kept thinking – why is everything calm on this piece of Earth, but on the one where I came from, the earth is shaking from human blows?

So gradually I came to my senses. Communication with nature heals the best.

And where my friends live, it’s still going on.

Communicating with plants just helps not to go crazy.

When we experience mental or physical trauma, few people go to a psychologist. Either we don’t believe in it, or we don’t have the money or the time.

Before I found out about neurographica, I went to a psychologist a couple of times and thought that in general everything was fine with me.

But it turned out to be only on the surface. One trauma after another came to the surface, and of course, it would be possible to leave everything as it is and not touch all these wounds, but since there is such an affordable and easy way to finally sort it all out and cure it, then why not?

Now I feel that I have to share this with people in the English-speaking space, and now I’m doing it.

And if you have a photo of your tomatoes, I will be happy to see it, send it.
